Deb Montner is the eponymous co-founder and partner of Montner Tech PR. Through her entrepreneurial spirit, she formed the agency in 1998 alongside her partner (and husband) Mike Smith to serve B2B tech and cybersecurity companies. Motivated to succeed and guided by her knowledge and passion for PR and the tech industry, Deb leverages her extensive network to drive her clients’ success and growth. She derives the greatest fulfillment both from launching and growing innovative tech firms led by inspiring founders and launching the careers of talented, inquisitive team members entering the profession.  

Fun Facts: 

1. Deb is a charter member of the Westport Saugatuck River Dancers formed during the Pandemic to “dance outdoors and do good.” The performing group has raised more $10,000 for breast cancer and suicide prevention. 

2. Not only does Deb give voice to her client’s campaigns, she is also a soprano in The Conservative Synagogue choir.  

3. Deb graduated from Cornell University with a sciences degree.
